The Northern Kentucky Area Planning Council meets on the third Saturday at 9:00AM in the months of February, April, June, August, October, and December. The location will be determined one month prior to the next scheduled meeting. Contact the NKAPC office for details.

The Council’s membership includes a member and an alternate from each local government within its jurisdiction. Both must be elected officials from that jurisdiction. Appointments to the Council are made annually. The Council’s most important responsibilities include:

•    representing the jurisdiction on all matters coming before the Council;
•    electing members to the NKAPCommission;
•    acting in a supervisory and advisory capacity with the NKAPCommission;
•    reviewing and approving the NKAPCommission’s annual work program and budget;
•    contracting with a certified public accountant to audit the NKAPCommission’s records, books, and accounts.
