NKAPCommission

The Northern Kentucky Area Planning Commission meets at 5:15 PM on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month in the Commission Chambers of the NKAPC Building. Check the calendar for specific dates as meetings are subject to change.

The Northern Kentucky Area Planning Commission is made up of seven persons elected by members of the Area Planning Council. The Commission’s most important responsibilities include:

• preparing and assisting in the implementation of an Areawide comprehensive plan that covers the Commission’s area of jurisdiction;
• appointing an executive director;
• preparing, publishing, and distributing reports and other materials relating to the business of the commission;
• preparing and submitting an annual work program and budget to the Area Planning Council; and
• exercising general supervision for the administration of its affairs.
