NKAPC staff is led by an executive director who, by terms of KRS 147.670(2), “shall be qualified by training and experience in the field of planning and zoning.” It is structured into nine substantive areas that include four formal departments. Each of the departments is led by a deputy director who is responsible for the objectives assigned to that department. Each of the deputy directors and all employees who serve in the other four substantive areas report directly to the executive director.
